For the record, I never know what to put in these things, but here goes nothing?

I've spent the last two years living in New Orleans (fun story how I ended up here not); just me, my service dog, Guinness, and two smaller psycho fuzzbutts. August through May, nursing school kicks my butt, however I still have more character ideas than I have spare time. I've got a terrible habit of getting all excited about new threads but then after a week or two, the new and shiny wears off--in which case, you have my express permission to kick me until I post. In all seriousness, I am always open to new threads, as long as you aren't opposed to somewhat slow replies (although I do usually guarantee once a week; I've got a posting schedule I follow). Feel free to drag me into all of your plot ideas! Bonus points if it's gritty--I don't believe in happy endings (ever)!

I may or may not have a soft spot for all witch characters (even if I have a bad habit of killing off my own). Oh, yeah, and I'm your queen-o-claims and Discord, so if you have any issues, lemme know!

This is not a pipe.
I have an obsession with character creation. It's probably a problem. I'm aiming for having one name for every letter of the alphabet (yikes!). I try to keep my 'cast' a bit diverse with a mix of species and personalities and skills so that if anyone has any plot wants I can try to throw something at them. I really love posts, ridiculously so, and I love writing. I don't care if you give me back two words; and I hope you'll enjoy rapid posts from me, as well!

I live in north-ish, east-ish Texas (help someone save me!) and you can pay me to do just about anything with a coffee or two. Or five. Yes, five is good. I love Asian markets and good food, and decent air conditioning. If I ever miss a post it's likely unintentional, so feel free to poke me. I don't have much of a life outside of my computer and my dog, but sometimes the youtube rabbit hole sucks me in. XD

French Quarter
The Historical French Quarter is home to some stunning old world charm, and new world eccentricities. Like much of the city, they know how to have a good time here. Dare you try your luck on Bourbon St; or are you looking for a classy meal? Locals and tourists alike advance upon the Quarter almost ritualistically.

Garden District
Known for its well preserved historic mansions and sprawling live oak trees, the Garden District was the height of opulence between 1830 and 1900. To this day, it is a center for wealth and high standing located just upriver from the Vieux Carré. The St Charles streetcar runs down the main thoroughfare of the Garden District into the French Quarter. Magazine Street is a major destination for shopping and restaurants.

Mid-City & Lakeview
The Canal Street streetcar bisects the Mid-City neighborhood. Home to City Park and many of the city's public works departments, it is primarily a blue collar, residential neighborhood since the Reckoning. Those that live there are proud of their neighborhood. Streets are lined with shotgun houses.

Bywater & the Marigny
Brightly colored houses in French and Spanish style are packed along the streets just downriver from the Quarter. The neighborhood has gentrified greatly in the past few decades. Although now known for being a hipster neighborhood, the history is not lost on its current residents. Frenchman Street is popular with the locals for its Jazz clubs and nightlife.
